About Marjorie G. Rosen
Having an abiding interest in flowers, gardening, and art, Marjorie Rosen has served in various board and committee positions for public service organizations in London and New York. Throughout her career in horticulture, Marjorie Rosen has devoted time to the Royal Botanic Garden Kew in Great Britain as well as the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG).
Marjorie Rosen has held several offices for the NYBG, including the vice chairmanship of the board since 2013 and the chairmanship of the Horticulture Committee since 2007. She has also cochaired the Plant Collector's Sale Committee for some time.
Marjorie Rosen also participated in the Royal Oak Foundation, an American organization that promotes gardening in Britain. She particularly enjoys the Chelsea Flower Show in London, one of the world's leading floral exhibitions.
Rosen is also active in promoting the visual arts. She remains affiliated with the Friends of the Costume Institute, part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is a member of the International Center of Photography Acquisitions Committee. She also coleads that organization's Infinity Awards Committee.
